No age statement malt from Glen Grant, The Major's Reserve is very easy to drink, and a great entry level malt from the distillery.

Absolutely delicious. After 30 years of drinking expensive single malt, this was an absolute find at a great price. Sometimes as low as £17 at Tesco.
Colour: Tango /Donald Trump, almost glows. Nose: corn syrup, red apples, raw alcohol fumes Taste: ((shudder)) more corn syrup Finish: Cloying, leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. I don't know what else to say, but this one is perhaps the most unpleasant whiskys I've ever tasted, which is odd because at the other end of the scale an independent bottling of G.G. 20 y/o ranked as one of the finest. Do yourself a favour and buy a bottle of Teacher's (blend) - same price and MUCH better.
apple, lemon clean and smooth. very nice whiskey!
This is a beautiful, fruity, perfectly balanced, collosal piece of shit. It's better than j&b or red label imo, but it's not something i like drinking neat. I use the rest of this bottle for when guests ask me for a whisky and cola.
Do you know thats the third hot toddy in an hour, prevention is better than a cure, the thing about whiskey is......sip, you pay for your education, not too peaty, nice pale single malt, pleasant no bells and whistles Chin chin
