No age statement malt from Glen Grant, The Major's Reserve is very easy to drink, and a great entry level malt from the distillery.

Very drinkable smooth whiskey and at €16 a bottle (France) it's not to be sniffed at.
The very first single malt whisky I ever had was Glen Grant (I don't think the Major's Reserve was around at that time). It may seem almost blasphemous to join Italian youngsters in enjoying whisky with no date of bottling and a screw cap, but I just love it.
Its too good
The first bottle was a present. I drink only whisky with tonic and this was very refreshing with a pleasant smokey background. Would recommend and would certainly buy again.
New to drinking whisky and been dipping into a few cheaper ones to start with and enjoying Amrut Indian, Glen Moray, and Glenmorangie SM's but picked this one up cheap to try out. I guess you do get what you pay for. Not a pleasant whisky in comparison, won't buy again.
