Selected from a single cask by Douglas Laing for its Provenance indie bottling range, this splendid single malt was distilled at Glen Garioch in February 2013. After eight years maturing in a refill barrel, in September 2021, the cask was opened, releasing a total outturn of 303 bottles.
Vanilla shortbread dusted with icing sugar, sweet honey, and a touch of cinnamon.
Toasted teacakes with melted butter lead to nutty notes of almond and charred oak. A hint of nutmeg joins sweet, fruity malt and more vanilla.
