Distilled in May 2007, this Glen Elgin single malt was filled straight into a pair of hogsheads. Over a dozen years passed and it was independently bottled by Signatory in April 2020, released at 46% ABV for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Gingersnap biscuits, with clove-studded orange and homemade jam on fresh toast.
Palate
Peppery oak, barley sugar and salted chocolate, with ripe orchard fruits.
Finish
Honeyed malt and oaky vanilla.
