A single cask whisky from Hunter Laing, who consciously uncoupled from Douglas Laing back in 2013. Glen Elgin is one of the signature malts of White Horse, but this whisky was allowed to mature for quarter of a century, with an outturn of 205 bottles in November 2015.
Light treacle, vanilla, pear and kiwi.
Tuck shop notes, honey and touches of fragrant cedar.
Toast with a little crab apple jelly and marmalade.
