Single Malt

A 21 year old single malt from the Glen Elgin distillery in Speyside, drawn from a pair of hogshead and bottled without chill-filtration by Signatory. It was distilled in October 1995 and bottled in February 2017. You don't hear all that much from Glen Elgin these day - a shame, because they do make some yummy whiskies indeed.
Wafts of oak-y bourbon and spiced rum, joined by a kick of citrus.
Melted butter and milk chocolate. Slightly floral malt, a pinch of salt and pepper.
Clove and peanuts.
