This is an independent bottling of 20 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the Glen Elgin distillery, drawn from a pair of hogshead casks which were filled in October 1995 and cracked open in May 2016. It was bottled by Signatory for their Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cookie dough, oatcakes, citrus zest and a hint of smoke.
Palate
Developing notes of brown sugar and dark chocolate. Malty.
Finish
Diced almonds and re-emerging citrus.
