This indie bottling of Girvan single grain Scotch whisky spent 26 years maturing in a single bourbon barrel after being distilled back in 1992. 180 bottles were released by North Star Spirits, presented at cask strength.
Apples, pears, subtly buttery at points. Salted popcorn and coconut ice.
Chewy caramel, almond, apricot, white chocolate. Quite oily.
Strawberry milkshake, Snickers bars, lemon zest and cinnamon.
