Well here's something you don't see very often, a bottling of Garnheath grain whisky! Operating between 1965 and 1986 Garnheath distillery was located within the Moffat complex (where Glen Flagler single malt was also produced) in Airdrie, near Glasgow. The outturn of the single refill barrel was just 141 bottles.
Sweet caramel, subtle oak, lemon curd and dehydrated orange wheels.
Sweet vanilla fudge, fizzy apple belts, candied lime peel, tinned fruit syrup.
Iced cinnamon pastries.
A lively 41 year old grain from a rarely seen distillery.
