From the phenomenal Fettercairn Distillery comes this elegant eight year old single malt! Matured in a single cask, this splendid Highlander was selected by the folks at indie bottler Douglas Laing, hand-filling a total of 432 delightfully decorative ceramic decanters for its Premier Barrel series.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy vanilla and soft stone fruits, malt biscuits, gently floral with some sweet tangy citrus.
Palate
Floral honey, peaches, and apricot with more fragrant vanilla notes cushioning delicate oak spice.
Finish
Orchard fruits continue, with honeysuckle and roasted barley, ending with a pinch of pepper and warming ginger.
