Fettercairn 20 Year Old 1997 (casks 3381 & 3382) - Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)
20 year old single malt from the Fettercairn distillery, aged in a pair of hogshead casks that were filled in June 1997. After two decades of maturation, the casks were cracked open and the whisky was bottled by Signatory for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vegetal oak, salted caramel, apple skin and a hint of basil leaf.
Palate
Strudel and fresh cream. Honey, tobacco and diced almond.
Finish
Waxy lemon peels and spicy ginger.
