From the fabulous Fettercairn comes this single malt, distilled in February 2009 and left to rest in a single refill hogshead for a dozen years. In August 2021, the team at indie bottler Douglas Laing decided it was ready to be enjoyed, and cracked open the cask to release a total of 344 bottles for its Old Particular collection.
Floral barley and honeyed sweetness with an array of baking spices and toasted nuts.
Sweet toffee, soft fruits, and roasted almonds with rich vanilla and biscuity malt.
A hint of cut grass pokes through, whilst the sweet honey continues with lingering spice.
