Fettercairn 12yo #15247 Bottling Note

From the fabulous Fettercairn comes this single malt, distilled in February 2009 and left to rest in a single refill hogshead for a dozen years. In August 2021, the team at indie bottler Douglas Laing decided it was ready to be enjoyed, and cracked open the cask to release a total of 344 bottles for its Old Particular collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Floral barley and honeyed sweetness with an array of baking spices and toasted nuts.

Palate: Sweet toffee, soft fruits, and roasted almonds with rich vanilla and biscuity malt.

Finish: A hint of cut grass pokes through, whilst the sweet honey continues with lingering spice.
