A fabulous Fettercairn, distilled in November 2006. The single malt was then allowed to rest in a pair of bourbon barrels for over 12 years (six days over 12 years, to be exact), and was independently bottled by Signatory just after its twelfth birthday in November 2018 at 43% ABV.
Toffee apple, tea leaves and loads of fresh summer fruits, with berries, peaches and nectarines.
Apple crumble and a generous helping of vanilla pod, some tropical fruit sweetness and tannic oak.
A herbaceous finish with a dash of sweet malt.
