Bourbon
This is a 12 year old single malt from the Fettercairn Distillery in the Highlands, independently bottled by Signatory. It was distilled in November 2006 and aged in bourbon barrels until July 2019, when it was bottled at 43% ABV.
Buttery biscuits, charred citrus fruits, some flinty hints too.
Nutty - think almond and pecan, which pairs well with the following notes of caramel and honey.
Mineraly flinty notes appear again, with plenty of vanilla and some earthy pepper heat.
