Single cask indie Fettercairn here! This one was distilled in 2008, and spent just over a decade resting in a single sherry butt. Once it reached 11 years of age, Langside bottled the single malt for its Hepburn's Choice series, with an outturn of 743 bottles.
Apricot jam, orange blossom, and sherried spices.
Dried fruit, spicy oak, and chocolate richness.
Orange chocolate and more spices linger.
fruity, oaky warming and longish finish. opens nicely with a small drop of water. overall very nice drink. always enjoy fettercairn stuff.
