This Fettercairn single malt was distilled in November 2006 before it was left to mature for 11 years in a pair of bourbon barrels. After over a decade had passed, the whisky was independently bottled by Signatory in May 2018, weighing in at 43% ABV.
Loads of oak, vanilla fudge and apple crumble, a good helping of fresh fruit with raspberries and peaches sprinkled with brown sugar.
Lots of creamy vanilla pod, buttery apple turnover and banana and custard, with more drying oak returning.
Grassy notes appear on the finish alongside toffee and toasty oak.
