This single cask Fettercairn was released by Douglas Laing as part of its Provenance series. Distilled in May 2008, the single malt was filled into a single refill hogshead for a whole decade. The cask was emptied in April 2019, and the Highlander was bottled at 46% ABV.

Nose
Chocolate cookies, fresh hay and buttered toast with apricot jam.
Palate
Milk chocolate praline, with golden syrup over pancakes and oak spice.
Finish
Earthy vanilla pod, barley sugar and chocolate-covered honeycomb.
