It's feckin good and very nice to drink on a mellow feckin evening. Good on you, lads.
you pay for what you get , and what you get is a fresh young whiskeys , has a bit of a kick to it and is a bit rough and tumble , but with a sweetness to it !.... it's not as rough and ready as a under the counter poitin made from fermented potatoes roughness !.... but it's a sweet distant matured cousin of it from the same feckin' stable as it !...but goes down great at family meetings along with the poitin !...slainte agus tainte ! .Joxer Catterall .
For the price Feckin is a reasonable buy. Tis a decent whiskey, not a great one.
We feckin' love this bi'-o-drink...If only we could feckin' find it a bit more local...Tis Feckin' BRILLIANT!!! ;-)
I'll give you the "gentle on the palette with a warm finish Spot on there. It's everything else that I cant live with. The nose is sweet and gentle with no alcohol burn. The finish is smooth, not burn, just a gentle warmth, very pleasing without question. It's the taste palette that I have a problem with. I like everything else about this whisky, but the oak in the palette, which I generally like, tastes like the cask was originally used to store paint thinner. I'm sorry, but maybe after being exposed to air and some aging ( I think maybe a year or so) I will retry the spirit but it will have to improve a great deal for me to justify the 28.00 American that I laid out for the bottle. Sorry guys, but this was a huge disappointment! I think I will go back to Jameson when I find myself feelin' a bit Irish.
