Forty years in whisky calls for celebration and this six-year-old Edradour does that, saluting distillery and Signatory Vintage owner Andrew Symington by bringing together spirit from the original Edradour distillery and first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads. It was bottled by Signatory at 57.1% ABV and released alongside an eight-year-old from Edradour No.2 (from a Châteauneuf du Pape Hogshead, no less)to offers an intriguing opportunity to compare the two distilleries.
