Description
A deeply indulgent wine-cask Highlander from Edradour Distillery. Distilled in 2013 and matured in first-fill Burgundy hogsheads, this small batch release layers rich berry fruit and velvety wine influence over Edradour’s famously weighty, oily spirit. Bottled in April 2026 at 46% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Raspberry compote, black cherry, dark chocolate truffles, and vanilla cream, with polished oak and clove spice.
Palate
Blackberry jam, malt loaf, cocoa powder, and red grape sweetness, balanced by nutmeg and gentle tannin.
Finish
Dark berries, soft oak dryness, and baking spice.
