Edradour 12yo 2006 #406 Bottling Note

A single cask indie Edradour from the ever-wonderful Signatory, bottled for Nickolls and Perks. Distilled in December 2006, the Highlander spent its 12 years resting in a refill sherry hogshead. In November 2019, it was bottled at cask strength, with 272 bottles released at 57.4% ABV for the Cask Strength Collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Dried apricot and raisin, with brown sugar, fresh espresso and caramelised pineapple.

Palate: Crème brûlée and oak char, with milky coffee and bitter dark chocolate leading into a drizzle of golden syrup.

Finish: Toffee apple lingers with touches of cocoa.
