Edradour 10yo 2012 #305 Bottling Note

This 10-year-old single malt from Edradour joins Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered Collection. The Highland whisky was distilled in June 2012 and matured in a single cask, with plenty of sherry influence. It was bottled in January 2023, without chill filtration, of course.

Edradour 10 Year Old 2012 (cask 305) - Un-Chilfiltered Collection (Signatory) Reviews

Great whisky. Great value.

I've tried a few of these single cask expressions of Edradour by now, and they are consistently excellent. Although the price may seem a bit steep for a mere 10-year age statement, the sheer depth and "Christmas in a bottle" richness of oloroso cask influence is everything you could hope for in a much older, more expensive whisky (I've stopped buying Glendronach Allardice since discovering this). And the additional layer of "Edradour funk" only enhances the experience all the more.
One of my favourite whiskies regardless of age statement or price. And one I will continue re-buying whenever it runs out for as long as it is around.
