Edradour 10 Year Old 2011 (cask 488) - Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)
This single malt from Edradour was distilled on 29th December 2011. We expect the team had leftover turkey sandwiches for their lunch that day. Filled into a single cask, the whisky rested for a decade, until it was independently bottled by Signatory in April 2022 for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection. As the name suggests, absolutely no chill-filtration has gone on here, and the colour is all-natural too.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Bittersweet cacao, chocolate coffee beans, fresh cookies, charred fruit.
Palate
Rich caramel, warming ginger, and oily barley. Boozy dates and roasted nuts develop later on.
Finish
Baking spice, a touch of earthen vanilla, and dark, berry studded chocolate.
