Single Malt
10 year old single cask single malt from Edradour, independently bottled by Signatory as part of the Un-Chillfiltered Collection. This edition was distilled in August 2007 and matured in cask #276 until February 2018, when it was bottled at 46% ABV (without any chill-filtration, obviously).
Caraway, cinnamon gum, orange peel and fresh ginger root.
Peanut brittle and chocolate raisins, with continuing ginger spiciness.
Lingering clove and anise.
It's alright. Smells oaky. Kind of a sweeter tasting like it was partially in an sherry cask for a moment then was placed back in an oak cask. I can smell something like clove but non of the notes from the description. Not bad overall. No harsh bit, and overwhelming sense oh alcohol.
