A peaty treat from Edradour, released under the Ballechin name for the Straight From The Cask series. It was distilled back in October 2008 and matured in a single bourbon cask for 10 years, eventually being bottled in December 2018. 317 bottles were produced.

Nose

Thyme honey and toasted teacakes, with a good kick of earthy peat smoke.

Palate

Peppercorn, barley sugar, charred oak and buttered rye bread.

Finish

Candied peels, caraway and bonfire embers.
