Tailfire is one of two no age statement single malt Scotch whiskies released for the Singleton of Dufftown range in 2014 (the other being Sunray). In tune with the berry red label, the Tailfire is a fruit-laden expression, with a high proportion of the whisky coming from European Sherry casks.

It's a nice, easy drinking dram that you can share with those who are not hardcore whisky lovers. But look for it in the major stores on deal, it's often priced at £25 which is bloody great value!
Absolutely loved it really nice after taste
Smooth, sweet, fruity. But past that, there's not much else to it. 6/10. Would be disappointed if i'd paid £36, thankfully now living in Taiwan I picked it up for £16 at the supermarket...
quite smooth, found it very easy to drink. lots of dried fruit on the nose and in the finish. I found it especially curranty in an altogether pleasing not at all overpowering way. highly recommend.
trying the speycascade version, its got a lovely floral fruity nose, will defo buy the other 2 taste versions. its good to taste a bit of experimentation.
