Description

A secret Lowland single malt selected for Douglas Laing's Old Particular Fanatical About Flavour collection. Matured for 13 years before a finish in a single orange wine cask, it was bottled at a natural cask strength of 52.1% ABV. Only 271 bottles were produced, without chill filtration or added colour.

Nose

Candied orange peel and dried apricot with ripe peach, sweet malt and a touch of ginger.

Palate

Honey and orange blossom lead into juicy nectarine and stone fruit, with vanilla and barley underneath.

Finish

Nectarine, sweet malt, vanilla oak and lingering citrus.
