Probably Orkney’s Finest Distillery 13 Year Old (cask 14529) - Clan Denny Chronicles (Douglas Laing)
From Douglas Laing's Clan Denny Chronicles range comes a single malt from... Probably Orkney's Finest Distillery! No hints as to which Orkney distillery it was, mind. This one was distilled in 2007 and matured in a refill hogshead for 13 years, and then bottled up at cask strength in 2020 with an outturn of 371 bottles.

Orange peels, salted butter, wafts of earthy smoke sneaking in later on.

Caramelised nuts, salted chocolate, peat, and a hint of sea air.
Finish
Punchy peaty smoke and a simmering spiciness.
