Description

A blended malt bottled under Douglas Laing's Clan Denny label, made with malts from several distilleries on the famous whisky isle of Islay.

Nose

Peat smoke and sea air off the bat with vanilla, iodine and candied peels.

Palate

Creamy peated toffee apples, petrichor, honey and salinity.

Finish

Long with sweet peat smoke.

Overall

Classic Islay without being dominated by a single distillery. A solid blended malt.

This is a blend of SINGLE Islay MALTS Great value. At this price, NCF and no added colouring. The smell is sweet, fruity with fruits oozing through. Taste - pear, pineapple, sweet and yet maybe a touch salty. At first, you think the taste dissipates quickly. And then, you suddenly realise you want more, a lot more
