Indie Islay single malt Scotch whisky here from Douglas Laing's Old Particular series – though the distillery responsible for this one is a mystery! Having been dubbed 'Big Peat's Finest Distillery on Islay', an homage to Douglas Laing's popular blended malt Big Peat, there are no other clues as to which distillery made it, though perhaps your palate can figure it out...? Anyway, the whisky is 15 years old, having been distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2021, aged in a single refill hogshead, and was bottled with an outturn of 287 bottles.
