A single cask single malt French whisky from Domaine Des Hautes Glaces, the same folks behind that tasty Vulson White Rhino Rye. This was matured in a single cask that previously was home to Saint-Joseph white wine, before being bottled with an outturn of 270 bottles. It was released for La Maison du Whisky's 60th Anniversary celebrations.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sultanas and sharp green apple aromas. A hint of fresh oak heat.
Palate
Cake-y and soft. Almonds and pine nuts, followed by intense sweet fruit.
Finish
Honey'd biscuits and black pepper.
