More to it than expected!
I'm rating this whisky based on both taste and price to reflect relative value.
An entirely inoffensive dram. Neat it is thin, but not without flavour. Hints of grainy vanilla, fruit and hazelnuts, with some honeycomb and a lingering light smoke.
A very easy to drink dram that makes a good session dram. For the money this is up against some decent blended malts or single malts. In all fairness, Dewards 12 is not out of place in that company and dependent on taste will measure up to or beyond many.

Quite OK "go to"
Nose: Juicy, fresh fruit. Floral, malty, sweet.
Palate: Yes, it's perfectly poised with its different components, but it's not complex og not very interesting. It's thin, but very clean. A comfortable mouthful. Sweet, hint of smoke and oak and some honey and toffee. Aniseed spiciness and weak peppery spiciness.
Finish: Mild weak smoke, malty sweetness. Too short.
Some Aberfeldy here, but (for example) Aberfeldy 12 is a more interesting whisky than this one...

Nice honey blend
You can't go wrong with this Dewers if you are looking for a nice every blend. It has good honey like sweetness to it. It is one of my go to blends and I always have it in my collection l
