This cask strength Deanston spent a good 15 years maturing, and that includes a stint finishing in Sauternes casks, giving the already fruity Highlander an extra influx of honeyed sweetness. Just 1,194 bottles were released at a weighty 57.3% ABV.
Vanilla fudge and floral honey, with white grape and orchard fruit.
Rich and sweet, with more of that grape sweetness, candied ginger and cooked apple.
A fragrant, honeyed finish.
