After distillation in August 2008, this Deanston matured in a single first-fill sherry butt for an entire decade. In February 2019 the single malt was bottled for Signatory’s Cask Strength Collection in a release of 599 bottles, of course at cask strength, a punchy 67.6% ABV.
Fresh brioche, caramelised brown sugar and a good handful of fresh fruit.
Raspberry tart, orange peel and buttered malt loaf.
Clove and dried herbs alongside dried fruit sweetness.
