Description
A big, spicy Dalmore bottled by Douglas Laing for their Old Malt Cask range. This was distilled in April of 1999 and was aged for 12 years in a single refill butt before bottling in April of 2011. A release of 429 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Bitter orange peel and pear juice, hints of cinnamon and tobacco, gingerbread and maple spices.
Palate
Pineapple and coffee, ginger, maple syrup and thick, creamy malt. Very rich.
Finish
Long and rich, apple juice and pepper.
