Single Malt
A delightful Dailuaine from the ever-wonderful Hunter Laing, this one has seen nearly two decades of ageing! After it was distilled in 1996, the single malt was filled into a single refill hogshead where it rested for the next 18 years. Eventually it was bottled at cask strength, with 268 bottles released at 55.1% ABV for The First Editions series. There's some bright tropical fruit in there among the spicier notes.
Aromas of strawberry laces and ground almond, along with tangy tropical fruit.
Sweet fresh mango, with peppery spice and butterscotch.
More black pepper and fresh fruit.
