An indie, well-sherried Speysider here, distilled at Dailuaince in 2005. It spent the next 15 years resting in a single sherry butt, before Douglas Laing emptied the cask in 2020. Just 281 bottles were released for the Old Particular series at 48.4% ABV.
Nose Lots of malt, with spiced orange heather honey.
Palate Fruit scones and heaps of raisins, with intense ginger spice, and oily malt.
Finish More dried fruit on a spicy finish, along with touches of vanilla sponge.
