Single Malt
Signatory
Scotland
This right here in an independent bottling of Dailuaine single malt, aged for 13 years in a pair of hogshead casks - from April 2007 to November 2020. After that rest, the whisky was bottled up by Signatory as part of the Un-Chillfiltered Collection. As such, no whisky was chill-filtered in the production of this bottling.
Croissants, chocolate muffins and cinnamon rolls, plus a hint of meaty malt.
Honey, oily barley, a pinch of peppermint developing later on.
Peppercorn, walnut loaf and more cinnamon.
Quite young initially, but a bit of air for 10 mins and it loses that youth. It has lots of honey, malted barley and at end, a bit of after eight mint shows up and strangely gets stronger even when not drinking it.. a decent finish, and again, it likes a little water. it does cloud quite badly even with a very small amount of water proving its non chill filtered alright. oerall this is very nice for the money. Its sat in my collection for a while now. struth
