10 year old single malt from the Dailuaine Distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Premier Barrel series. 380 of the flask-shaped bottles were produced, with labels boasting a gamut of alliterative prose upon them. Very charming stuff.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh barley and vanilla pod, with a hint of oak smoke.
Palate
Honey-roast peanuts, fresh lemon and a savoury hint of sage.
Finish
Spicy caraway and peppercorn builds on the medium length finish.
