Light, gentle. Cut herbs, floral, custard, hay.

Rounded, mixed peels, lots of barley.

I love all kinds of single malts but have tried some blends to compare. Cutty Sark is one that has more character and smoothness. This will be a regular for me now. Love it.

Cutty Sark unique as it is dependable

Pure as water, A light lemony delicious quaff with a biscuity edge and a Speyside nose. Minimum smoke. Pure and slightly sweet. It is an oatmealier version of its mother malt, the Glenrothes 15 year old. With vanilla sherbet or a taste of Wimbledon on a summer eve. Yum. Good, too, on a late autumn afternoon before or after Sunday roast. And lounging after before the tv.

last fifth oaths whiskey was a complete dissapointment. it doesn't seem to have the flavors it did 10 or more years ago

seems over priced

I just opened the bottle. Sometimes scotch gets better when it's been open a while. Smells like tequila and maybe a little like nail polish remover. I don't know what nail polish remover tastes like, but this scotch does taste a little like tequila. Other than that it doesn't taste bad. Nicely sweet. A little bitter on the finish. I bought it to use as a mixer anyway. I just expected a little more for 19.99 per bottle.
