Craigellachie 18 Year Old 1999 (cask 12218) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

A superb sherried Speyside sipper from independent bottler Douglas Laing, this 18 year old Craigellachie single cask is a delectable addition to the Old Particular range. 295 bottles have been released into the world from this particular ex-sherry butt, with the liquid a tasty representation of all the things that are characteristically fabulous about whisky from the region.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Sweet and spicy with loads of allspice and nutmeg notes. Creamy caramel and Christmas cake, too.

Palate

Stewed orchard fruits, strawberry cheesecake, dried orange peel and a darker, leathery note.

Finish

Lingering dark fruits, nutmeg and coffee beans.
