14 year old Craigellachie single malt Scotch whisky here – another smashing release from North Star Spirits! This one was distilled back in 2006, and bottled in 2021 but not before a finishing period in an Oloroso sherry hogshead. Just 195 bottles were produced.
Stewed berries, apple turnovers, a hint of lavender.
Heavy vanilla on the palate, with more berries appearing along the way.
Kitchen spices balanced by tangy marmalade.
