This single cask Craigellachie was distilled back in 2001, and placed straight into a single sherry butt to mature. Not one for superstitions, after 13 years Langside bottled up the single malt for its Hepburn's Choice series, with an outturn of 467 bottles.
Glazed orange and slightly burnt brown sugar, with toffee chocolate.
Peppery crackers balance sweeter red fruits, a hint of honeycomb and peach.
Bitter cocoa and floral honey linger.
