Craigellachie 12yo #1496 Bottling Note

Single malt from Craigellachie, bottled by Douglas Laing for its Clan Denny range. Distilled in 2009, it matured in a refill hogshead for a dozen years before it was bottled, non-chill filtered, and without added colour. Only 345 bottles of this Speyside whisky were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Fruity Speyside character, dried apples and apricots, with some barley sugar, and nutty grain.

Palate: Crumbly fudge, with allspice, clove, some ginger, and poached orchard fruits.

Finish: Toasty grain, with warm winter spices.
