Yet another marvellous Old Particular bottling from Douglas Laing, this time featuring single cask whisky from the Craigellachie Distillery! It was distilled back in March 2008, and allowed to age for a dozen years until March 2020, when it was bottled up at 48.4% ABV. 463 bottles were produced.
Croissants, strawberry jam and a hint of rock pool salinity.
Nutty brown bread with some of that strawberry jam from the nose, warm caramel, nectarine and toasted cinnamon.
Slightly chocolatey on the finish, with another helping of strawberry for good measure.
