A sufficiently sherried Craigellachie, distilled back in May 2006. The single malt's next 12 years were spent in a single sherry butt, adding oodles of fruity notes to the single malt. In 2019, Hunter Laing yielded 285 bottles from the cask, bottled at 50% ABV for the Old Malt Cask series.
Fresh strawberries, lemon drizzle and honeycomb.
Red berries and light floral notes alongside a mineral backbone, with decadent notes of buttery millionaire shortbread.
Rich toffee, mocha and orange peel on a lengthy finish.
