A well sherried Craigellachie, bottled by Langside! Distilled in 2008, it was then matured in a sherry hogshead for the next decade until it was bottled in 2019. Only 259 bottles of this Speysider were released as part of the Hepburn's Choice range at 46% ABV.
Tart raspberries and ripe stone fruits, a dash of orange citrus and rich caramel notes.
More red berries alongside creamy caramel milk chocolate, roasted coffee beans and a crack of black pepper.
Fresh espresso and pepper spice linger on the finish with a hint of raspberry jam.
Very nice and a good nose as well. Good dram for this price!
just horrible with a taste of perfume...
