Description
A 22 year old peated Irish single malt whiskey from the Connemara range! At the time of release, this was the oldest Connemara you could get your hands on, and it's very impressive indeed...
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apples, vanilla and chopped herbs. Then comes the light, elegant but up-front smoke. A hint of burnt wood develops.
Palate
Wood smoke is more prominent on the palate, followed by notes of grilled fruit and fresh lemon peel.
Finish
Oak spice grows and grows on the finish, until a crescendo of peat smoke and herbs.
