A 1975 vintage Convalmore single malt Scotch whisky, bottled in 2015 by the folks at Gordon & MacPhail for their Rare Old range. Convalmore once resided in the Speyside region, though sadly shut its doors back in 1985 and has remained closed since.
Blueberries, apple boiled sweets, a touch of barrel char, thick honey.
Spiced oak, lemon peels, stewed apples, chopped mint and thyme.
Lingering smoky oak warmth and toasted malt.
